ABOUT ME

Sea turtles and more

I'm a Peruvian marine biologist, currently working as an Assistant Scientist at the Florida Museum of Natural History. My research focuses on understanding the feeding ecology and movement patterns of sea turtles and other large vertebrates, as well as the impact of fisheries on the populations of endangered animals.  I'm also involved in various outreach initiatives through programs and courses designed to train students on how to disseminate their science as well as to learn more about environmental issues and how they can contribute to the betterment of the planet.
